All international documentation is reviewed by the International Admissions Office as well as the UF Online Admissions Office. This process takes longer than normal and the review process will not begin until all required documentation has been submitted. Required documentation such as transcripts, diploma/degree certificates, and examination results must be accompanied by certified, literal (exact) English translations if documents are not issued originally in English.
Please note that we cannot accept email or faxed copies of documentation from an applicant. Only documentation sealed by the issuing institution or evaluation agency can be accepted as official by the Office of Admissions.
International students currently living abroad may participate in a UF Online program, but UF cannot provide documents for F-1 or J-1 Visa application since you won’t take physical classes in the US.
International students currently studying in the US on a visa status other than F-1 or J-1 may be allowed to participate in a UF Online program incidental to the requirements of your primary visa status.
Each application requires a non-refundable $35 application fee in U.S. currency. Online applicants may use credit cards. Please be aware that if paying by credit card, a small service fee may be charged. Foreign money orders will not be accepted. If it is difficult to submit the application fee because of currency restrictions in your country, you may ask a friend or relative in the United States to submit the fee on your behalf. Make sure your full name and date of birth are included with the fee payment. The application will not be processed without the application fee, and there are no fee waivers or postponements of payment.
